The Temple University Alumni Association and College of Education Fourth Annual Holiday Book Drive

Join our fourth annual Alumni Book Drive to benefit four local elementary schools surrounding Temple’s Main Campus. These books are used to build school library collections and they become an important part of students’ everyday curriculum. Last year, more than 700 books were donated by Temple's devoted alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends. All donations are considered tax-deductible gifts-in-kind.

Donations will be accepted through Thursday, Dec. 10.

How to Make A Book Drive Donation:

• Visit amazon.com .  
• Click on "Gifts & Wish Lists" at the top of the page 
• In the "Search Wish Lists and Registries" box (top right of page), type "ISS/Partnership Schools", and click "Go." 
• Make your selection(s) from the wish list by clicking "Add to Cart." 
• When completing your order, click "Proceed to Checkout." 
• Sign in, or create a new account with amazon.com. 
• Ship to the gift registry address listed for the College of Education, Temple Univ. (or send directly to ISS/Partnership Schools, 1301 Cecil B. Moore Avenue, RA 160, Philadelphia, PA 19122) 
• Proceed to the payment method screen. 
• IMPORTANT: Forward a copy of your e-mail confirmation to alumni.ed@temple.edu so that we can acknowledge your gift.


Books will be presented in December 2009 to Meade Elementary in North Philadelphia. Further details will be sent in a confirmation letter after you have forwarded your amazon.com e-mail confirmation to Temple.
