Bill Cosby Live!

The Temple University Alumni Club of Northern California invites you to an evening with alumnus Bill Cosby - legendary comedian, actor, author, television producer and activist. Meet up with fellow alumni and friends for complimentary appetizers before the show (location TBD), and head to the Paramount Theatre of the Arts for a live performance.

Phillies @ Giants Outing


Join fellow alumni and friends as the Temple University Alumni Club of Northern California hosts an evening full of baseball and fun. Start your night off at Pete's Tavern (across the street from AT&T Park) to reconnect with Temple alumni over food and drink, and then head across the street for the Phillies-Giants baseball game to watch National League rivals battle it out on the diamond.

The Temple University Alumni Association is currently accepting nominations for Directors-at-Large.  

To learn more about serving on the (Philadelphia-based) board and submitting an online nomination form, go to: myowlspace.com/nominations. The deadline for nomination submission is March 1, 2012.

Specific board requirements include:
• Attendance at three board meetings per year
• Annual $100 minimum contribution to Temple University
• Active participation on TUAA committees 
• Attendance and participation at major Temple and TUAA events, including Homecoming and Alumni Weekend

The deadline for submitting a nomination is March 1, 2012. Please note the board selection process will be completed in mid-April; individuals will be notified of a decision at that time.

The Temple University Alumni Association sponsors an Alumni Insurance Program as a service to all alumni.  The program offers a variety of attractively-priced insurance products, most of which are available to alumni, students, faculty, and staff, as well as their spouses, domestic partners, children, parents, and siblings:

Auto, Home & Renters Insurance Special rates are available to alumni and family members living in the same household.
Health Insurance For those with a temporary or permanent need for coverage, such as the unemployed, self-employed, and recent graduates.
Life Insurance Long-term protection with great rates and fantastic features. Coverage is available to $50 million. 
Long Term Care Insurance Intended to protect assets from serious erosion, while allowing access to quality care in the most appropriate and desirable setting.
Travel Insurance Travel medical or trip protection insurance options are available for individuals or groups traveling abroad.
Annuities An ideal tax-deferred vehicle for conservative investors who want guaranteed fixed interest rates for extended periods.
Special Event Liability coverage up to $2 million is available for events lasting from a few hours to as much as 10 days.
Pet Insurance Simple, customizable dog and cat insurance plans are available.
Advisory Services A licensed insurance professional is available, at no charge, to answer questions and provide customized guidance.
