Free TUmail
As a Temple graduate, you can obtain or renew an e-mail address ending with @temple.edu.
To renew your TUmail or to obtain a new account, you must first
log in
to the online community at myowlspace.com.
Your online community username and password are separate from your TUmail account login.
Your alumni e-mail account (powered by Google) will include:
• an @temple.edu e-mail address
• easy-to-share documents, photos and calendars; and
•
more than 7GB of storage
Whether you are renewing an existing TUmail account or creating an account for the first time, using TUmail is a great way to show your Temple pride in every message you send!
Frequently Asked Questions about TUmail
Q:
When I enter my TUmail (or AccessNet) username and password to renew my TUmail, I get an error message that my account or e-mail address is not found.
A:
You may not yet have created a myowlspace.com account. Renewing your TUmail requires two steps:
1) Create or enter your username and password for the online community at myowlspace.com. (This is a separate login from your TUmail account.)
2) Once you have logged in to the online community, click on “Free TUmail” and follow the steps to extend access to your TUmail account.
Q:
When I try to “Join” the online community, my name is marked as already registered. .. But I don’t know my username or password.
A:
Click “Login” and click “Forgot your username?” or “Reset password.” If you encounter problems, e-mail

Q:
I don’t have a myowlspace.com account, but when I try to join, I can’t verify my account using the last four digits of my Social Security number.
A:
If you know your TUid, enter the last four digits instead of your Social Security number. E-mail

I tried to join the online community, but my name is not listed.

I logged in to the online community; however, I receive an error message that my “registered e-mail address has been kicked back.”
A:
This means that the e-mail address on file for you in the online community has rejected e-mail at some point and been flagged by myowlspace.com as “undeliverable.” You can enter a different e-mail address in the “update e-mail address” field, or click on “contact the administrator” to have your original e-mail address reset as valid.
Q:
What is an AccessNet account?
A:
This is your TUmail username and password.
Q:
I logged in to the online community and reached the e-mail renewal screen (the TUmail logo is on the left side). I clicked “I already have an AccessNet account” and was prompted to enter my TUmail username and password. However, I get this error message: “Username/Password combination not found in system. Please try again.”

I have never had a TUmail account and want to create one. I have logged in to the online community and reached the TUmail screen, and am being asked for my “alumni ID.” What is my alumni ID?

After logging in to the Online Community, click “Edit Profile” To find your Alumni ID.
